ALM Salons
Since February of 2006, ALM members have been gathering as a Salon to share knowledge, insights, opinions, and questions. In the 2007-2008 season, the Salon floated to interesting venues in other parts of the Archdiocese. Under the guidance of Mark Kieffer from Nativity of Mary Parish, Bloomington, we will be holding this season's gatherings on the second Friday of each month at 1:00pm. We will meet at the Good Earth Restaurant in Roseville. It is located at: 1901 W Hwy 36, 651-636-0956. http://www.goodearthmn.com/locations_roseville.php
ALM Newsletter
The Newsletter for ALM has been a quarterly publication now sent out as email to all registered members. If you have not received your newsletter, please email webmaster@almspm.org.
Bus Tour
In years past, we have ventured around the Archdiocese to explore newly constructed or renovated worship spaces. It has been proposed that we might take the time to seek out worship spaces with significant religious art or artistic design in future tours. Does your parish have something new that might be of interest on our tour?

Finale Software and Liturgy Guides Workshop
On Monday, April 21, 2008, we offered a workshop on the use of Finale music notational software to create liturgy guides or slide presentations. The afternoon portion of the workshop covered copyright compliance and the how-to’s of liturgy guide production. The event was held in the computer lab at the Perpich Center for Arts Education in Golden Valley, MN.
Afterwards, many ALM members in attendance asked if future workshops could go beyond the basics of Finale notation. We are planning to schedule another workshop in the coming year to address specific needs in Finale usage.
